開經偈

The Dharma, infinitely profound and subtle,

Is rarely encountered even in a million kalpas.

Now that I can hear, study, and follow it,

May I fully realize the Tathagata’s true meaning.

無上甚深微妙法 百千萬劫難遭遇

我欧博网站今見聞得受持 願解如來真實義

“All created things are like dreams, fantasies, bubbles and shadows;

Like dewdrops and flash of lightning,

They should be viewed in such a way.”

一切有為法

如夢幻泡影

如露亦如電

Dream: it feels so real while you are in one

Fantasy: an easy trap for us to fall into

Bubble: it would only last for aminute, but when it pops there is nothing left

Shadow: you would feel there is a“me” watching the shadow of yourself.

Like dewdrop: dry up without at race when the light of wisdom shines on

Flashes of lighting: it would be gone in a minute without leaving any trace

Such is the Way

The coalescence of causes and conditions gives rise to phenomena.

The dissipation of causes and conditions leads to the cessation of phenomena.

All phenomena have their own causes and conditions, inheriting the past and sowing for the future, continuously flowing and changing,with the same emptiness nature.

Although they come to be coalescently,

Yet they are insubstantial;

Similarly, they are impermanent,

Yet nothing has been lost.

You should learn so, see so and comprehend so.

因緣和合生諸法

因緣壞散滅諸法

諸法各有因緣，承前啟後，

遷流不息，同一空性，

雖緣生實不得，無常亦不失。

應如是知，如是見，如是信解
